Sega Sammy has revealed its Q3 2024/25 financial results, covering the period up to December 31, 2024, and it showcases mixed results for the company (according to GamesIndustry.biz).

While the Entertainment sector experienced an 8.1% rise in total sales, reaching ¥238.6 billion, its overall sales have unfortunately fallen to ¥322.3 billion, marking an 8.1% decline compared to the previous year, with operating profit decreasing by 20.8% and net profit down by 13.9%.

This decline can be linked to a drop in free-to-play revenue, which decreased to ¥34.7 billion (in comparison to ¥40.1 billion during the same period last year), along with the sale of Amplitude Studios in November 2024. This French company has since returned as an independent entity following a management buyout.
