Scopely Launches New Studio in Saudi Arabia Under the Leadership of Former EA Executive
Mirai CEO Charity Pleasure was formerly the general manager at Criterion.
Scopely has launched a new studio in Saudi Arabia, headed by former EA executive Charity Pleasure.
Mirai aims to leverage local talent from the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region through education and development.
The studio has not yet revealed what projects are in the works, but it is actively recruiting.
Pleasure spent three years at EA, beginning as a senior producer for the EA Sports franchise in 2021 before transitioning to Criterion as an executive producer in 2022. She then became general manager in November 2023, leaving in October 2024.
Additionally, she served as a production manager for The Walt Disney Company on Club Penguin in 2007, eventually rising to the position of creative director in 2014.
