UE5 has represented a significant advancement

There have been persistent speculations regarding the Halo: Master Chief Collection transitioning to additional other platforms, but recent information indicates that this may not unfold as initially anticipated.
During a discussion on ‘The Xbox Two’ podcast about the forthcoming Switch 2 release, The Verge’s senior editor Tom Warren shared his uncertainty about whether a series will materialize or if “every game” will indeed be included:
I do not know if it’ll be ‘series’, in the traditional sense – I wouldn’t consider it as every game, put it that way… [that’s] probably about all I can say on it.
Although he seemingly cannot disclose more concrete information at the moment, he did comment on one of the host’s mentions regarding a potential remake of the existing title Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary – referring back to his previous report about a possible remaster.
Warren also speculated that cross-platform development on Halo may have become “more restricted” since the rebranding of Halo Studios last year and its transition to Unreal Engine 5 for upcoming projects. Furthermore, he believes Project Foundry (the UE5 Halo tech demo) is the “ideal” type of endeavor a studio would need to pursue if it intended to “remake an older game”.
Should we receive any updates, we’ll ensure to inform you.
