The physical edition of Romancing SaGa 2: Revenge of the Seven has received its first price cut at Amazon and Walmart. This remarkable remake of the Super Famicom classic debuted last month with an affordable list price of $50, but now you can potentially acquire a copy for $42.31 at both retailers. Romancing SaGa 2 is also accessible in physical format for Nintendo Switch, however, the offer is only available for PS5. In technical terms, the Switch version is discounted by 5% at Amazon ($47.49)—although we would hardly consider that a “deal.”
The PS5 discount on Romancing SaGa 2 is genuinely impressive considering the game just launched in late October, yet it’s certainly not the best offer on a Square Enix RPG during the Black Friday weekend. Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is priced at $30 off, Octopath Traveler 2 is just $25 for PS5 and Switch, and Final Fantasy I-VI Collection Anniversary Edition is $20 off for Switch and PS4. You can also save big on JRPGs from other publishers, such as Metaphor: ReFantazio, the latest IP from Atlus.
