As the end of the year approaches, Hello Games’ adventurous space simulation No Man’s Sky is – in a turn of events that is rapidly becoming quite a trend – revisiting all its limited-time Expedition activities from 2024 over the upcoming ten weeks. This means you get another chance to zoom through and collect their unique rewards if you missed out previously.

And I truly mean zoom. While Expeditions typically last around six weeks, No Man’s Sky’s latest Redux event is racing through this year’s offerings at a rate of one every two weeks. Furthermore, activities have already kicked off with Omega – which initiated 2024’s Expeditions back in February – now active until December 11th.

Omega (similar to all future Expeditions) can be accessed via the terminal in No Man’s Sky’s shared Space Anomaly, and – among its many rewards – provides players with the chance to acquire the rather flashy Starborn starship. Before we delve into the highlights of each Expedition, however, here is the complete upcoming Redux schedule:

No Man’s Sky’s eerie The Cursed expedition launched in October.Watch on YouTube
  • Omega: November 27th – December 11th
  • Adrift: December 11th – December 25th
  • Liquidators: December 25th – January 8th
  • Aquarius: January 8th – January 22nd
  • The Cursed: January 22nd – February 5th

Rewards for Adrift, which has players stranded alone in a desolate universe, include a petrified frigate known as the Ship of the Damned. Meanwhile, Liquidators features organic chitin armor that players can obtain while they embark on a Starship Troopers-style worm hunt among the stars.

As for Aquarius, it’s a somewhat delayed Expedition primarily focused on introducing No Man’s Sky’s new fishing system, with rewards including the Lost Angler’s fishing gear and an octopus-inspired bobblehead for your starship’s dashboard. Lastly, there’s The Cursed – a horror-themed Expedition set in a crumbling reality filled with spectral beings. Rewards here are quite impressive, featuring the Cthulhu-esque Dread Exosuit customization, bioluminescent pets, and the UFO-like Boundary Herald starship.

Hello Games’ Expedition Redux event is currently ongoing across all platforms, and it follows the recent news that No Man’s Sky has, after eight years since its tumultuous launch, managed to achieve “Very Positive” reviews on Steam.
