“Revamping the Realm: Manor Lords Introduces Modern Maps, Fresh Constructions, and Enhanced Quality of Life Features”
“Your opinions have always been integral to the process, and I am dedicated to maintaining the transparent development method.”
Manor Lords has revealed what’s coming in its upcoming patch.
While major issues have been few, the solo developer, Slavic Magic, understands that a single image is worth a thousand words, thus enhancing the post with numerous images to showcase new maps, construction enhancements, and a “redesigned” ale and water distribution system to enhance the functionality of taverns and wells, albeit still in closed testing.
There has also been a marketplace “revamp”.
“We are reworking how marketplaces and product distribution operate, after experimenting with three different systems to develop an engaging, intuitive, and straightforward solution,” explains the developer.
“This update will also introduce distribution filters for marketplaces, a feature that has been highly requested.”
The developer concluded by announcing that Manor Lords has been nominated for Best Debut Indie Game and Best Sim/Strategy for player voting at The Game Awards.
“This recognition is greatly appreciated, but naturally, there’s a lot more work ahead. The game is still in Early Access, and I know there are many features, tweaks, and upgrades you are all eager to see,” developer Greg Styczeń stated.
“Your input has always been a vital component of the process, and I am dedicated to persisting in the open development model that has brought us this far while diligently improving the game.”
“There’s a conviction to Manor Lords that belies its one-person creation, and what exists can be captivating, but it remains a pastoral dream that still requires considerable development,” stated Bertie.
