Konami’s initial attempt at reviving its long-ignored horror franchise after over a decade, Silent Hill 2 Remake, entered the rankings in ninth place, “signifying a successful comeback for the legendary survival horror series,” as noted by Newzoo, which stated, “Konami’s eagerly anticipated remake struck a chord with both longtime fans and newcomers, highlighting the immense appeal of well-executed revivals.”

Despite only being available on Nintendo Switch, Mario Party Jamboree debuted in sixth place on the revenue chart and topped the Switch income rankings.

When it comes to engagement, however, Fortnite maintained its position as the most-played game across all platforms, with Call of Duty coming in as a close second, despite “breaking franchise records” and “achieving the largest launch weekend in the series’ history.”

Although absent from the overall top 20 based on monthly active users (MAU), Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero “achieved significant success on consoles,” soaring to second place on the revenue chart.
