
Recent Elden Ring Nightreign playable character printed
A recently revealed playable character in FromSoftware’s forthcoming Elden Ring Nightreign has been announced.
In the community test, only four Nightfarers were available for players, but the latest pre-release showcase features Ironeye for the first time.
Ironeye appears to belong to a ranger, or sniper, class capable of shooting foes with a bow. Particularly impressive is the ability to fire arrows while airborne after leaping off walls, thanks to the game’s new parkour system.
While Ironeye’s main abilities remain undisclosed, the video reveal does showcase the character charging a shot that travels through a selection of enemies in the distance, followed by a wave of energy.
It seems that Ironeye can also perform a stealth attack by shooting arrows at close range from behind.
Elden Ring Nightreign will include a total of eight Nightfarers, each representing different player classes. The community test featured the versatile Wylder, the sturdy Guardian, the magic-wielding Recluse, and the rogue-like Duchess.
Ironeye will need to work well within the community using ranged attacks, although builds can certainly vary depending on the randomized weapons discovered during each run.
It is yet to be revealed who the last three Nightfarers will be, but a Faith character might be a strong possibility. One might also consider the return of a Wretch.
The community test for Nightreign took place last month, allowing players to experience the three-player cooperative game’s roguelike three-day cycle.
