Pokemon enthusiasts are recognized for their fervor, particularly with the arrival of Pokemania’s Thirtieth anniversary in 2026. Often, these fans are even willing to pay remarkably high prices for non-official Pokemon merchandise, including–of all items–a Flamin’ Hot Cheeto that closely resembles Charizard. Dubbed “Cheetozard,” this unique snack has recently gone up for auction, and the impressive bidding has already surpassed four figures.

According to Polygon, this Charizard-shaped Cheeto is currently accessible to anyone with a significant amount of disposable income on Goldin auctions. As of this writing, the current bid stands at $2,100, with eight more days remaining before the auction concludes.

According to the auction details, Cheetozard was “discovered and preserved between 2018-2022 by 1st & Goal Collectibles.” It includes a customized Cheetozard card housed in a transparent storage box. While it’s a highly entertaining novelty item, it may not appeal to everyone.

Next week, The Pokemon Company is set to host a Pokemon Presents Livestream, and fans have already speculated that the forthcoming Swap title, Pokemon Legends Z-A, will be featured. Meanwhile, Pokemon Go developer Niantic is reportedly in discussions to divest its gaming division to Saudi Arabia’s Scopely. This weekend, the Pokemon Go Unova Tour – Los Angeles event is taking place in Pasadena, CA. Prior to the start of that event, The Pokemon Company and Niantic committed to a joint donation of $1 million for Los Angeles wildfire relief.
