Rapid Commute Games has eliminated 30 positions, primarily within its publishing, marketing, and administrative divisions, although “the studio will also be affected as [it] consolidates down to one development team.”

In a statement shared on LinkedIn, the Stockholm studio explained that the layoffs were due to “lower sales than anticipated,” describing the redundancies as an “incredibly tough decision” that became necessary to ensure a “stable and sustainable future for the company.”
