QA firm TestFly acquires Brazilian testing company Red Cerberus
TestFly declares that the agreement will “substantially enhance its capabilities.”
TestFly, which describes itself as a “foremost provider of strategic and innovative quality assurance testing services” for the gaming sector, has acquired the Brazilian testing agency Red Cerberus from tinyBuild.
While TestFly refrained from disclosing the specifics of the acquisition, various sources report that it was a $1.5 million cash transaction. The company stated that the acquisition will “significantly enhance TestFly’s capabilities by incorporating Red Cerberus’ talented team of approximately 180 professionals along with their cutting-edge testing facilities.”
“The merged organization will deliver improved automation tools and 24/7 testing availability through a follow-the-sun approach, along with enhanced support across console, PC, and mobile platforms,” the company mentioned in a statement.
Red Cerberus indicated that the integration with TestFly is already in progress and will not disrupt ongoing services for its clients and employees.
“We’re excited to welcome Red Cerberus to the TestFly family. Their expertise, esteemed reputation, and extensive industry knowledge are perfectly aligned with our goal of establishing new benchmarks in game testing,” stated TestFly CEO Kevin Chelius.
“This acquisition reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional quality and service.”
