Pokémon Unveils Exciting Livestream Previews for Next Month’s Events
Pokémon Legends Z-A data appears to be emerging – but will we observe it on Swap 2?
The Pokémon Company is set to host another Pokémon Presents livestream next month, according to information leaked from Pokémon Go.
Data-mined mentions of a Pokémon Presents 2025 event linked to the annual Pokémon Day have been identified today by prominent code explorers, The Pokemod Group.
The announcement of a Pokémon Presents livestream on or near Pokémon Day (February 27th, the anniversary of Pokémon Red and Green’s original launch in Japan) is not particularly surprising. Pokémon Presents livestreams have typically (though not always) occurred on this date.
Much like a Pokémon-themed version of a Nintendo Direct, at least one Pokémon Presents broadcast has taken place each year since 2015, often more than once annually. These events usually highlight significant details on all Pokémon initiatives set to release in the upcoming months, spanning both console and mobile games, as well as other franchise updates.
Until now, there had been no official word regarding the first Pokémon Presents for 2025, and with this year bringing Swap 2, it could add another layer of intrigue, potentially suggesting that the livestream might also feature whatever is in development for Nintendo’s currently unannounced console.
This could very well include a Swap 2 version of the already-confirmed Swap title Pokémon: Legends Z.
