Pocketpair Unveils New Publishing Division, Partners with Surgent Studios for Exciting Debut Title
Surgent Studios is set to unveil a standalone horror game in late 2025, which is not connected to the Tales of Kenzera franchise.
Palworld developer Pocketpair has established a publishing branch and has collaborated with Surgent Studios to develop its next horror project.
The game, which has yet to be named, is anticipated for release in late 2025 and will no longer be associated with the Tales of Kenzera universe. Surgent Studios confirmed they are still exploring discussions with possible partners focused on video games set within that world.
“Both Surgent and Pocketpair have a strong inclination toward taking risks,” stated Surgent Studios CEO Abubakar Salim. “We recognized a trend in the entertainment sector, and Pocketpair has provided us the chance to create a horror game around it.”
“We are actively engaged in discussions about other projects within the Tales of Kenzera universe, but this will stand as an independent piece: a landmark illustrating our journey so far and our future direction.”
