Sony has unveiled a nostalgic video to commemorate PlayStation’s thirtieth anniversary.

It’s already past 3pm here in the UK, meaning it is now after midnight on December 3rd in Japan – exactly 30 years since the PS1 made its debut in the country.

Sony’s video features a compilation of classic and celebrated games that have significantly influenced PlayStation’s history, kicking off with Horizon: Forbidden West, Death Stranding, and The Last of Us Part II, accompanied by a soothing remix of The Cranberries’ Dreams. (Dreams itself does not appear.)

God of War, Uncharted, Shadow of the Colossus, Marvel’s Spider-Man and many more are included, reflecting PlayStation’s extensive range, featuring both third-party blockbusters and titles from Sony’s own studios.
