Revealed earlier this year, Halloween is the newest horror series to receive its own video game, and now we have a release date. Nonetheless, the date might startle you.

Developer IllFonic has disclosed that it’s launching on PS5 on 8th September 2026 in this new gameplay video:

The game includes both solo and multiplayer options, where you can embody Michael Myers or a variety of civilians trying to halt his murderous rampage.

It appears to incorporate many components from other asymmetric horror titles, such as Friday the 13th: The Game. Still, it’s exciting to observe the town of Haddonfield, which seems fairly detailed in the game.

Enthusiasts have nearly a full year to get ready for the apparition’s debut on PS5. Are you excited about Halloween on PS5? Don the mask in the comments section below.
