Ubisoft revealed its remake of the iconic PS2 classic Prince of Persia: Sands of Time more than five years prior.
You might remember, the title was slated for a January 2021 launch, but a series of postponements culminated in the project being assigned to an entirely different developer.
Ubisoft indicated in its financial statements that the game is expected to launch before April 2026, and the reliable Tom Henderson from Insider Gaming has since refined that timeline.
The well-informed tipster suggests the game will debut in mid-January, implying it’s just slightly over a month away.

There’s some conjecture we may witness a trailer at The Game Awards on 12th December, which would be logical if the French publisher aims to initiate pre-orders and isn’t contemplating a surprise launch.
Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is widely acknowledged as one of the finest platformers ever, with its distinct time manipulation features providing it a unique character.
