World's End Club Emerges Unexpectedly on PS5 1

Without any forewarning or promotion, World’s End Club can be experienced on PS5 starting today.

The former Apple Arcade game had been hinted for Sony’s platform after its PS Store listing appeared suddenly late last month. However, just two weeks afterward, the game has launched for £19.99/$24.99.

For those unfamiliar, this puzzle-adventure title was helmed by DanganronpaMaster Detective Archives: Rain Code and The Hundred Line: Last Defense Academy.

Here’s the summary:

“In a primary school located in Tokyo, a group named the Go-Getters Club exists, composed of quirky children from various parts of Japan. Reycho and the other members feel distinct from those surrounding them. Then, one day, during summer. While traveling on the bus for their class excursion, they encounter an accident. Upon awakening, they find themselves in an underwater amusement park. Reycho and the others are confined within this peculiar, deserted location. Suddenly, out of nowhere, a strange clown appears and commands them to participate in a Fate Game! Before they can comprehend what’s happening, they’re fighting for their very existence. Will they manage to survive and escape this bizarre environment?”

Our associates at Nintendo Life weren’t fond of this title, giving it a 5/10 and calling it “dull”, but are you inclined to try it on PS5? Share your thoughts below.
