A flash from the deep blue
A complete sequel to the nostalgic shooter Warhammer 40k: Boltgun has been revealed, and it’s arriving on PS5 in 2026.
Simply called Warhammer 40K: Boltgun 2, this continuation promises to deliver more of the same, but hopefully even more impressive.
“Control the battlefield with a range of powerful weaponry and even more lethal skills,” states the press release.
“Confront beloved adversaries such as the cheeky Nurglings and Chaos Cultists, along with entirely new foes.”
We appreciated the first Boltgun and its evident enthusiasm for the Warhammer 40k universe, although we felt it was hindered by some peculiar difficulty spikes and inconsistent level design. Nonetheless, it should serve as a robust base for this sequel.

He still approaches fighting games seriously, but RPGs are his true affection. The Witcher, Persona, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Trails, Tales — he has engaged with them all. Perhaps a bit too much, some might argue.
