By The Old Peace coming to PS5, PS4 for free
Warframe studio Digital Extremes announced over the weekend its next big content update for the third-person shooter will launch for free on PS5, PS4 later in 2025. Given the title The Old Peace, you can get a taste for it in the trailer above.
What started as a PS4 launch game, Warframe has grown in size, stature, and popularity across 12 years of constant support. The team states it has more than 85 million players, and an annual festival celebrating the game, TennoCon, marked its 10th year this past weekend.
In a press release, creative director Rebecca Ford praised the Warframe community for supporting the festival for 10 years. “To be able to continue TennoCon and bring together more players in person from around the world and treat them to the latest announcements, hijinks, and simply celebrate the world of Warframe is a privilege we don’t take for granted. The 10th TennoCon has been a deeply special, unforgettable journey.”
