The best place to play
- by Sammy Barker

Sony’s mostly backed away from major conventions in the west, but it’s still investing in its brand in Asia.
This past weekend, the platform holder assembled a massive booth at the G-Fusion Game Fest in Beijing, where it showed off a variety of titles – including Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Stellar Blade, and Lost Soul Aside.
As you can see from the video embedded above, the space had a large open area in the middle, with a giant television running trailers and various PlayStation accessories housed in glass cases.
Then to the side there were various playable demo stations, featuring some of the abovementioned titles.

It looks like attendees could complete quests around the booth in order to win prizes, like PS Store voucher top-ups, which is always appreciated.
China has become a massive growth vector for PlayStation.
Sony’s said that its strategy in the region is to help make local devs successful worldwide, and that’s why it’s invested in the China Hero Project, which has been a remarkable success thus far.
Obviously we’ve seen the kind of impact titles like Black Myth: Wukong can have, but other projects like Tides of Annihilation and Blood Message harbour similar promise, and are likely to be big performers on the PS5.
