There's Unfinished Business in Robocop: Rogue City's Standalone Expansion on PS5 1

If you’ve previously experienced RoboCop: Rogue City – and, to be honest, you ought to have – then you’ll have a solid grasp of what to anticipate from the standalone expansion, Unfinished Business.

Scheduled for release on 17th July, which is just over a week away, the game promises more of Teyon’s intensely violent first-person action.

This trailer effectively highlights precisely what you can look forward to: new narrative, new adversaries, and new armaments.

While a significant portion of the campaign will unfold in OmniTower, there will also be flashbacks illustrating some of protagonist Alex Murphy’s activities prior to his transformation into the titular Robocop. The trailer confirms you will even get the opportunity to take control of ED-209 for a short while.

Personally, we’re quite enthusiastic about standalone expansions like this. Games take an extensive amount of time to develop these days, so there’s genuinely nothing wrong with reusing several of the existing assets and providing a bit more.

Clearly, Unfinished Business still needs to stand on its own two cybernetic legs, but it seems there’s ample fresh content here to justify it for fans of the original game.

The inquiry is: how’s your excitement holding up? Are you a supporter of the original Rogue City and seeking a bit more? Or have you already had your satisfaction with this specific shooter? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
