The Force is Strong in Fortnite's New Star Wars Season on PS5, PS4 1

You won’t necessarily need to travel to a galaxy far, far away to get your Star Wars fix this May 4th, as the Galactic Battle era is here in Fortnite.

This is a Star Wars-themed season, so if you’re a fan of George Lucas’ iconic sci-fi universe, then you’ll find a lot to like about this Battle Royale update.

You’ll find various locations from the movies on the map, including the First Order Base, where you’ll be able to hijack a TIE-Fighter, and Outpost Enclave, which is the perfect hiding spot for smugglers.

In addition to the themed locations, you’ll also find iconic weapons like the lightsaber, and if you train with Emperor Palpatine, you’ll even be able to obliterate your opponents with Force Lightning.

This being Fortnite, a full content calendar is planned, with Luke, Leia, and Han Solo joining the fray from 8th May – and a final showdown on the Death Star scheduled for 7th June.

There’s also a Star Wars Battle Pass which includes the following unlockable skins:

  • Apprentice Evie
  • Poe Dameron
  • Wookiee Team Leader
  • Emperor Palpatine

As always, you can purchase the Battle Pass with 1,000 V-Bucks or unlock it as part of your Fortnite Crew subscription.

So, there’s plenty to dig into here, and obviously remember to keep your eye on the Item Shop for even more Star Wars-themed items if you like.
