A wild Fahkumram surfaces

Tekken 8 has been experiencing some difficulties recently, with Bandai Namco compelled to issue an “emergency” patch for the game after its Season 2 update significantly disrupted gameplay.
All attention turned to EVO Japan, hoping for a plan that would rekindle enthusiasm for the 3D brawler. Regrettably, judging by online feedback, the audience’s reaction was somewhat tepid.
Muay Thai fighter Fahkumram, initially unveiled as DLC in Tekken 7, is set to be the game’s major summer addition – a character lacking a particularly robust fanbase.
“I have a feeling they’re aiming to phase it out so they can cease development expenses,” one fan commented on the announcement.
He will be preceded by a balance update on 13th May, along with a Ghost Showdown mode introduced in the Tekken Lounge.
Then on 3rd June, you can “look forward to” a Karate Kid crossover, promoting the new film within the game. Several classic outfits will also be included.
One of the most exciting features on the agenda is the PAC-MAN collaboration, which will introduce a stage inspired by Bandai Namco’s legendary arcade classic as part of the Season Pass, along with various PAC-MAN-themed cosmetics, such as hit effects and more.
However, considering the current skepticism within the game’s community, it will require some remarkable updates in the future to shift the overall sentiment. Analyzing the reactions to these announcements, it appears that indifference is replacing outrage – which could be the most concerning state for a game to be in.
