Procedurally-driven Prince slashes straight onto PS5

Consider us blindsided. The Rogue Prince of Persia has landed on PS5 as of 20th August 2025 with almost zero warning.
We were aware that the roguelike acrobatic romp was exiting Steam’s Early Access this month, yet we’d anticipated making its console bow somewhat later.
Evidently the PlayStation 5 edition is fully polished and will pop up on the storefront imminently. While we can’t see its page yet, the wait should be brief.
The reveal surfaced during an Xbox livestream out of Gamescom. IGN captured the clip for you:
Evil Empire—best known for steering Dead Cells through years of outstanding DLC—crafted this sidescrollers where you’ll sprint, flip and slice across Persia to undo the royal player-character’s missteps.
Leverage silky parkour moves and razor-sharp fights to push ever deeper.
Being a rogue-lite, death scratches your journey back to the palace gates, but permanent perks gradually build you into a veritable whirlwind with every fresh attempt.
