Don’t stay a stranger

Update []:
Bandai Namco has now locked in launch timing for the previously uncovered Digimon Story Time Stranger demo.
The sample will arrive this week, landing on 11th September, though what’s actually included remains under wraps. Fingers crossed it’s a substantial slice of the RPG’s opening stretch.
Original Report: A playable taster for Digimon Story Time Stranger is on the way ahead of launch, producer Ryosuke Hara has revealed.
In a chat with Japanese site Gamersky (noted by Gematsu), Hara said the demo is coming “soon”, but refrained from sharing a precise day.

We’re expecting an official Bandai Namco statement within the next two weeks, with Time Stranger itself due 3rd October.
If you’ve missed the build-up, this fresh Digimon RPG has been shaping up nicely for months. Hands-on previews are glowing, gameplay clips look slick, and the healthy marketing push shows the publisher believes this could be the franchise’s largest entry yet.
Hopefully the incoming demo will confirm whether Time Stranger can meet the hype.
We also wouldn’t be shocked if the sample spans the prologue and lets progress carry over to the full game—pretty standard for RPG trials these days.
