“I’d repeat the same choice.”

This ought to be a week of champagne corks at Sucker Punch, with follow-up Ghost of Yotei launching in mere days.

Yet the studio may be sliding into a hiring hurricane, after a Senior Staff Character Artist is said to have been dismissed for remarks about Charlie Kirk’s death.

If you’ve missed the headlines, the polarising pundit was fatally shot at a Utah gathering this week. As of now, the gunman remains at large.

Weighing in, Drew Harrison posted: “Hopefully the shooter’s called Mario, so Luigi realises his brother’s got him covered.”

That line nods to Luigi Mangione, the man charged with gunning down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson last year.

Several hours on, Drew hinted that her quip had been flagged to bosses—namely Sucker Punch and Sony:

Then at dawn today, she stated: “If resisting fascism cost me the career I chased for a decade, I’d make the identical move—only a hundredfold fiercer.”

Her LinkedIn now lists her full-time stint at Sucker Punch as ending in September 2025.

There’s no official word linking the posts to her departure, but we’ll reach out to Sony for comment.
