Yoga blaze

Dhalsim ranks among the most recognized characters in Street Fighter’s lineup, but we wouldn’t exactly call him appealing.
His elongated limbs, skull ornament, and – in Street Fighter 6, at least – bushy white beard render him more enigmatic than tantalizing. (Depending on your preferences, naturally! No judgement here!)
In Legendary’s forthcoming live-action adaptation, however – he’s appealing. More enticing than a yoga inferno. More than… Well, you catch my drift.
This transformation is due to the casting of Commando star Vidyut Jammwal in the role, as per a Deadline report.
This will mark the actor’s debut in Hollywood, with sources suggesting he’s chosen the role to present himself to American audiences very thoughtfully. To be honest, it’s hard to get much cooler than Dhalsim.
This means the eclectic and fantastic cast for this movie currently appears as follows:
- Andrew Koji as Ryu
- Noah Centineo as Ken Masters
- David Dastmalchian as M. Bison
- Jason Momoa as Blanka
- Roman Reigns as Akuma
- Callina Liang as Chun-Li
- 50 Cent as Balrog
- Orville Peck as Vega
- Andrew Schulz as Dan
- Cody Rhodes as Guile
- Vidyut Jammwal as Dhalsim
We still remain unaware of the film’s story, but we do know that Bad Trip’s Kitao Sakurai is set to direct.
We must be nearing completion of the cast at this stage, but it will be intriguing to see if series favorites like Zangief, E. Honda, Cammy, and others also make the roster.
