What could it possibly be?

Announcing announcements? Are we still engaged in that?
It appears so, as the official X (or Twitter) account for Dragon Ball video games has verified a new title will be disclosed in January.
This will be revealed during the Dragon Ball Genkidamatsuri, a real-world event set to occur at the Makuhari Messe in Japan on January 25, 2026.
The upcoming game will be part of a stage presentation, with the panel anticipated at 11AM local time.

It is important to note there’s no assurance this will be a PS5 title, as it could potentially be available on rival platforms or even mobile devices.
However, considering we’re now a year past Dragon Ball Sparking Zero’s release, we speculate that Bandai Namco might have something fresh in development for consoles by this time.
