Closing the divide

Sony is preparing to launch Death Stranding 2: On the Beach for PC in the fairly near future, if an ESRB rating is to be trusted.
The initial game was transferred to other systems by 505 Games, but this occurred prior to the platform holder’s strategy of introducing more first-party titles to marketplaces like Steam.
It took around eight months for the original journey to reach PC, but we would anticipate approximately six months of console exclusivity in this case.
With the PS5 version debuting on 26th June, we would not be astonished if the PC variant was available by Christmas, with an announcement likely at The Game Awards next month, where the game is nominated for Game of the Year.
It’s important to recall that this scenario differs slightly from other first-party PS5 titles, as Kojima Productions holds the intellectual property and operates as an independent studio.
It’s needless to say that we strongly endorse the game, as mentioned in our 10/10 Death Stranding 2 PS5 review:
“In what will undoubtedly be one of the hallmark games of the PS5 era, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is an extraordinary achievement in design, gameplay, storytelling, and visuals. As all four elements converge, Kojima Productions has created a cinematic marvel that seamlessly transitions between action and exploration, all enveloped in the most captivating of narratives.”
