Scheduled to release alongside the game
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach marks the next significant launch in Sony’s lineup, making it rather expected that it would be accompanied by a Limited Edition DualSense controller. Pre-order availability will begin on 22nd May, exclusively through PS Direct.
Here’s a lovely image of Hideo Kojima holding the controller, courtesy of the PS Blog:

The controller, crafted in partnership with Kojima Productions, features a sleek black design adorned with the DrawBridge emblem in orange across its touchpad. We believe it has an attractive look, even though the details on the grips seem a tad excessive.
This controller will be priced at $84.99 / £74.99 upon its release, which is steep—but that’s the reality of modern gaming accessories. It is set to launch on 26th June, coinciding with the game.
What’s your take on this design? Do you appreciate its aesthetics, or do you feel it’s another misstep from Sony’s hardware team? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments below.
