Coffee Stain Studios has unveiled a PlayStation edition of its wildly acclaimed sci-fi automation sim, Satisfactory.
Born from years of Steam early access, the project reached version 1.0 in 2024; next stop, PS5.
The fresh teaser confirms Satisfactory is touching down on Sony’s hardware 4 November 2025:
You embody a settler on an extraterrestrial world, tasked with forging industrial groundwork for humankind.
Jumpable in drop-in co-op, the loop is one of harvesting raw materials, continuously expanding a sprawl of factories, and charting the terrain—occasionally mixing in skirmishes.
Naturally, your facility can balloon into a sprawling maze capable of churning out every item and resource imaginable.
Satisfactory boasts nearly 120k Steam reviews, all labeling it Overwhelmingly Positive—meanwhile critics also showered the PC version with praise.
Here’s hoping the PlayStation adaptation is solid, because it sounds poised to become the definitive assembly-line sim for the system. This sub-genre is still thin on PS5 ground, so it may make a big splash when it surfaces later this year.
