And it requests you to add it to your wishlist
Ah, Chrono Odyssey. This game almost amazed audiences when it was first unveiled in 2023 — and at last, it has made a comeback.
To be honest, the title did make an appearance last year with a brief trailer that insisted, “this game still exists, we assure you” — but since then, we haven’t witnessed much of the project.
This latest video is even shorter than the previous one, but it coincides with the announcement of a closed beta trial, set for June. Regrettably, the playtest will be exclusive to PC — but it at least confirms that Chrono Odyssey isn’t merely an overly ambitious fantasy doomed to remain trapped in development limbo.
“This initial public playtest milestone signifies the next phase leading to the game’s complete release on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, offering a revolutionary MMORPG experience backed by state-of-the-art technology,” the official press statement reveals.
It’ll be exciting to keep an eye out for gameplay clips once this beta launches, as we’ll finally get to observe the title in action. It promises intricate combat utilizing time-based mechanics, set within a vast open-world environment.

He still takes his fighting games earnestly, but RPGs are his true fascination. The Witcher, Persona, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Trails, Tales — he’s experienced them all. Perhaps a bit too much, some might argue.
