Due out in just under a month from now, Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army is pushing ahead with some more in-depth marketing material.
The game’s new trailer is basically six whole minutes of gameplay explanations, giving curious onlookers a fairly effective overview of the RPG. It covers the title’s general structure, which alternates between on-the-street detective work and action battles against demonic entities. Classic Atlus.
As previously reported, though, Raidou Remastered is arguably more of a remake. It introduces a boatload of improvements alongside a huge visual overhaul. In particular, the aforementioned action combat system has been handed a near total rework.
The original PS2 title was very niche even by Atlus’ old standards, but it’s clear that the developer, and publisher SEGA, are putting a lot resources behind this revival. Here’s hoping it introduces a whole new audience to the wonderful world of Raidou Kuzunoha.
