Pilgrimage to the PlayStation shrine

Sony just unveiled its jaw-dropping ChinaJoy 2025 stand, along with the complete roster of demos visitors can try.
The structure borrows from ancient Chinese temples: red lanterns sway beneath sweeping pagoda roofs while a colossal moon bearing the PlayStation emblem hangs above. The whole presentation is simply breathtaking.
The teaser below—uploaded by Gematsu—is pre-rendered, yet we’re told it’s a faithful preview of how the finished hall will look and feel:
On the software front, the company is spotlighting titles made by Chinese studios.
This is every game scheduled to appear in the booth:
- Black Myth: Wukong
- EXILEDGE
- Lost Soul Aside
- Phantom Blade Zero
- Retrace the Light
- Tang Legends: Silent Strings
- Unending Dawn
- Vanishing Starlight
- Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
ChinaJoy 2025 unfolds 1–4 August in Shanghai; organisers anticipate a larger crowd than 2024’s record of 360,000.
PlayStation views China as a crucial avenue for expansion, a bet that has paid off spectacularly—just look at Black Myth: Wukong, which recently blew up on PS5 and PC. It’s a savvy play that continues next month when Lost Soul Aside finally arrives.
