Sony has launched a fresh update for the Welcome Hub application on PS5, introducing a new widget that offers additional statistics tracking, along with a seasonal animated backdrop that evolves throughout the calendar year. Currently, on our UK PSN account, this update is active, and you’ll be notified of the new widget and backdrop.
Upon adding the widget named Recently Played, your most recently played title will be shown along with the total hours engaged, the number of sessions completed, and your overall game advancement.
Moreover, the fresh animated backdrop is associated with the ongoing season and time of year. At present, it displays an autumn ambiance featuring leaves drifting from trees. This will transition through winter, spring, summer, and revert back to autumn over time.
