Just as it did with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Microsoft is making the most of the PS5 Pro with its Xbox game conversions, and Forza Horizon 5 is the most recent title. Digital Foundry has thoroughly examined the PS5 edition, showcasing how the open-world racing game performs optimally on PS5 Pro.

The latter notes that distinguishing between the basic PS5 and Xbox Series X versions is nearly impossible. On the PS5 Pro, however, the Performance Mode shows the most significant enhancement.
It’s noted that the vegetation displays similarly as in Quality Mode, yet you also benefit from the improved frame rates of Performance Mode. “It’s plausible that the standard console could have achieved something like this with a compromise on resolution, but this is fundamentally a seamless experience that typically runs at a complete 4K.”

We remarked: “Forza Horizon 5 may be a few years old, but its extensive range of activities, comprehensive feature set, and outstanding driving mechanics ensure it stays ahead. It isn’t flawless—it can feel excessive and daunting, the AI can be irritating, and the characters along with their dialogue often lack depth. However, while behind the wheel, engaging in its diverse events and exploring the stunning open-world, it’s hard not to be charmed by its vibrant character and playful essence.”
