Suri: The Seventh Note radiates in gameplay teaser
It seems as though the PS5 indie titles that Sony is fostering through its China Hero Project and India Hero Project initiatives continue to improve consistently, and Suri: The Seventh Note stands as the most recent illustration of that.
Tathvamasi Studios is crafting the game as part of the India Hero Project, and it has unveiled a fresh gameplay teaser in anticipation of a 2026 release on PS5 and PC. Suri: The Seventh Note delivers a “multi-sensory rhythm adventure” where you move in harmony with the beat. The haptic response of the PS5 controller is indicated to be pivotal for actualizing this mechanism, enabling you to hear, see, and sense each pulse of the music.
Situated on the enchanting island of Suri, the narrative tracks Ajira, a courageous young girl battling against the clock to rescue her mother. Her sole chance resides in discovering a mystical fruit that blossoms deep within the core of a land devastated by an enigmatic, corrupting rhythm.
According to a PlayStation Blog entry, the developer has collaborated with Sony to refine its Rhythm Haptic Engine for implementation in Suri. “We grew up playing on PlayStation systems, which hold a distinctive significance in our hearts. We’re thrilled to introduce our own game to consoles that played a crucial role in our upbringing,” remarked game director Glen Martin. “Collaborating with PlayStation has been an extraordinary educational journey.”
If you appreciate the aesthetic of Suri: The Seventh Note, it can be wishlisted now on the PS Store. Will you be doing this? Share with us in the comments below.
