Undeniable Dead Space atmosphere saturates the latest 10-minute hands-on look at Bloober Team’s upcoming survival-horror entry, Cronos: The New Dawn.
From the creators of last year’s stellar Silent Hill 2 reimagining, the Polish studio is transitioning straight into this follow-up, emphasizing a slightly more action-oriented style within the genre. During the demo walkthrough, Bloober Team escorts viewers through Sector A-0.
“In a far-flung era, only Travelers wield anti-gravity apparatus needed to navigate locations where physics collapse completely.” Footage illustrates how this premise unfolds in practice: the protagonist yanks objects and entire slabs of terrain toward themselves, then launches onto walls and ceilings by targeting radiating pads.
There’s no precise day of arrival yet, but Cronos: The New Dawn is locked for a PS5 debut sometime before the year is out. Reports suggest select press outlets will publish hands-on accounts next week, which could finally reveal the launch date.
