Cost is appropriate

Sony has been quietly implementing significant new enhancements to the PS Store, such as the recent introduction of user reviews – and it has just launched a very beneficial feature that’s long waited for, as initially noticed by Reddit.
Enthusiasts checking out discounted titles may now find a ‘Lowest Price in the Previous 30 Days’ tab, which will inform you if a game’s been less expensive over the last month or so.
Numerous independent PS Store monitors provide a similar functionality, so many of you may already be aware of this feature. However, this marks the first instance PlayStation has embedded it directly within the storefront.

We think a more beneficial metric here would be ‘Lowest Ever Price’ because it would let you determine whether you’re genuinely getting a deal. This data indeed exists on many of the mentioned sites, which track prices over time.
Nonetheless, this is a valuable and appreciated new feature.
Hopefully, Sony will keep making these minor adjustments to the PS Store, as the company still has considerable progress to make to match the industry benchmark, Steam.
