Given the immediate triumph of Oblivion Remastered, there’s no question that Bethesda will be considering similar ventures in the future — if they aren’t already underway.

Developer Virtuos has demonstrated it can be entrusted with such endeavors, leaving us curious about what lies ahead. After all, Bethesda boasts a treasured collection of RPGs worthy of the same treatment as Oblivion.

For us fans of PlayStation, this is crucial. Both Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas are still confined to the PS3, while The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind — Oblivion’s forerunner — never made its way to a Sony platform.

It certainly appears that the moment is ripe for these beloved classics to make a comeback, reminding us why they received such high acclaim initially.

Moreover, it’s worth noting that all these classic Bethesda titles utilize what is fundamentally the same engine. Theoretically, the Unreal Engine 5 enhancements that Oblivion received could be applied to the rest — and this might have been the strategy from the start.

But which Bethesda RPG do you wish to see receive the Oblivion Remastered makeover next? Vote in our polls and share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Perhaps a bit too much, others might suggest.
