Infinity Nikki is, believe it or not, celebrating its complete year – which indicates that its substantial v2.00 update is nearly here.
Scheduled for release on 25th November – or 26th November, based on your timezone – this complimentary update will significantly enhance the dress-up open world.
New additions include multiple costumes that equip the lead character with fresh abilities, such as a bow-and-arrow and a grappling hook. She also has the capability to summon spirits and increase her size.
The narrative will transport you to a novel realm named Itzaland, where new characters and species await, along with engaging activities, including parkour-like platforming trials and even rides on snail-shell boats.
Additionally, you’ll discover an assortment of new outfits to enrich your collection, with many available for free through gameplay.
“Infinity Nikki has consistently aimed to provide players the opportunity to express themselves,” remarked Infold Games’ Douhu.
“With Version 2.0, we aspired to extend that liberty further. This update isn’t merely about exploring Itzaland; it’s about modifying it. It embodies all we’ve gleaned over the last year, and all we still desire to create with our players.”
Infinity Nikki has experienced some fluctuations since its launch. While it received a warm welcome initially, some unneeded plot modifications really alienated players approximately six months post-launch.
The developer has been striving to mend the situation ever since, and v2.0 symbolizes a crucial stride towards realigning the game. Notably, it operates much more smoothly at 60fps on PS5 these days.
