Brandish the chain-scythe
Refresh #2 []:
The tale marches on; the clip is back, now sitting on YouTube. Catch it embedded below.
Refresh #1 []: For reasons unknown, the post containing the Ghost of Yotei clip has vanished. Still, the web moves at light-speed, and you can catch a mirrored upload on ResetEra.
No word yet on why the official feeds pulled the video; odds are it’ll surface again soon.
Primary Report: Ghost of Yotei is Sony’s next big in-house release, and the visuals are impressive—especially after its latest State of Play. Now the promo campaign seems to be revving up.
A fresh gameplay reel has surfaced through the company’s social accounts, showcasing one piece of Atsu’s arsenal: the kusarigama.
This weighted sickle on the end of a weighted chain looks brutally elegant in action. Atsu fires it toward a target, yanking foes close for a vicious coup de grâce.
It also excels at crowd management, unleashing wide arcs that slash through multiple attackers at once.
Hopefully we’ll get similar reels highlighting the rest of Atsu’s kit—the spear, the great odachi, and more.
Oddly, the clip isn’t on YouTube yet; we’ll swap the embed once it lands there.
