Warhorse Studios has unveiled a substantial update for its PS5 RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 today, presenting update 1.3 along with the initial expansion, both now accessible. This update, which is a substantial 47.352GB, consolidates all the new features, so simply download this package and you’ll be set.
The first DLC, named Brushes with Death, is offered through the Expansion Pass or can be acquired separately for £4.99 / $5.99. It seamlessly integrates into the core game, introducing fresh quests across both maps, accompanied by the following story premise:
“Aid a mysterious artist in revealing his obscure history and express your flair in shield painting. Henry meets an eccentric painter who enmeshes him in a complex scheme, challenging his abilities to discover resolutions.” The development team has two additional DLC expansions planned for this title, both expected to launch before the close of 2025.
Throughout the expansion, players will also gain a new feature known as Shield Painting. This allows you to “visually customize your shield, selecting from an array of designs and colors to represent your individual style”.
As for what patch 1.3 offers for free, players can engage in Horse Racing, an exciting new activity that will evaluate “your abilities in cross-country races and mounted archery contests”. There are fresh quests and Trophies tied to this endeavor. The complete list of patch notes can be accessed via the link — they are extensive enough that we’d spend all day detailing them.
A groundbreaking RPG for 2025, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is set to grow further, boasting an enhanced overall experience along with new content via DLC. Will you revisit this historical title and explore the expansion? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
