Kingdom arrived, observed, triumphed

The remarkably acclaimed Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has just achieved a remarkable new sales achievement.
Launched on February 4 for PS5, the open-world RPG has exceeded 3 million copies sold within just three months — a milestone that will be viewed as a substantial success by developer Warhorse Studios.
Indeed, it’s undeniable that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is an intense, often challenging medieval experience. This is precisely the type of game that may appear nearly impenetrable to more casual observers, so this level of accomplishment certainly deserves to be celebrated.
Moreover, the initial Kingdom Come: Deliverance has now achieved over 10 million sales. It will be intriguing to see if the sequel can ultimately match its predecessor.
For the record, we awarded Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 an extremely rare Push Square 10/10 in our review. It subsequently secured our Game of the Month for February — an accolade determined entirely by reader votes.

Robert (or Rob, if you prefer brevity) serves as an assistant editor for Push Square and has been an aficionado of PlayStation since the 1990s, when Tekken 2 unveiled to him the phenomenal realm of video games. He remains devoted to fighting games, yet RPGs hold his truest enthusiasm. The Witcher, Persona, Dragon Quest, Mass Effect, Final Fantasy, Trails, Tales — he has experienced them all, perhaps a bit excessively, some might argue.
