Perpetual threat

If you’ve, like this writer, been anticipating a new The Simpsons title for over 15 years, this recent Fortnite season could be the closest alternative.

Seriously, don’t solely rely on our advice; view the trailer:

Epic has executed an exceptional job with this brief season, which is currently available and will last throughout the month.

The studio has launched a fresh cel-shaded Springfield map, featuring significant spots such as 742 Evergreen Terrace, the Power Plant, and more.

You can savor Steamed Hams, relax on the Simpsons’ iconic couch, and even get mocked by Nelson Muntz.

Furthermore, a new Battle Pass – which we’re certainly purchasing – includes characters like Homer, Marge, Flanders, Blinky Fishstick, and Springfielder Peely. That Blinky Fishstick is a cleverly intricate reference.

The Battle Pass also introduces the season’s inaugural Sidekick, Peels, as highlighted earlier in the week.

And if that’s insufficient Fortnite x The Simpsons content, new mini-episodes will be introduced in-game throughout the season, with Apocalypse D’Oh available now.

Here’s the complete schedule:

1st November
Apocalypse D’Oh
10th November
Sugar High
17th November
Multiplidiocy
24th November
The Incredible Bulk

As expected with Fortnite, additional surprises are set to be revealed throughout the month, with a Bart Simpson bundle already accessible in the Item Shop and Krusty the Clown to follow. We’re going to expend so many V-Bucks.

There’s also news of Spongebob content arriving soon, promising a genuine crossover for the ages.
