Wait, what?!

It looks cute and colourful, but Hide the Corpse may just be the most morbid release on PSVR2 to date.
The game is exactly what it sounds like: you’ve got a dead body and you need to stash it before the cops arrive. The better you hide it, the more points you’ll earn. Weird.
Here’s how the official blurb pitches it:
“Hide The Corpse, the chaotic and quirky VR body-hiding sandbox is launching on PlayStation. As a player, you will be tasked with stashing a body in one of six stages during a four-minute window. Don’t get caught!”
This obviously plays to PSVR2’s strengths, because it requires a lot of faffing with physics. For example, you can pick up objects to cover the body – or drag the corpse into a freezer or fridge.
It’s just so damn dark as a concept, isn’t it?
The trailer says the game is due out on 18th August but the blurb mentions 20th July, so we’ll double-check which release date is accurate.
Either way, have you got the appetite to try something like this? Even though it’s clearly all slapstick and tongue-in-cheek, we’re a little surprised this has been made.
