After last week’s cryptic hint, Arrowhead has locked in that assets pulled from Halo 3: ODST will touchdown inside Helldivers 2 on the exact same day the shooter’s Xbox Series X|S edition launches—26 August. The Legendary Warbond showcased in the trailer above contains the full stockpile.
The crossover injects the following arsenal and armor into Helldivers 2:
- MA5C Assault Rifle
- M6C / SOCOM Pistol
- M90A Shotgun
- M7S SMG
- A-9 Helljumper Armor Set
- A-35 Recon Armor Set
Bonus cosmetics include fresh capes, player banners, passive perks, pattern variations, and commemorative titles. When the Warbond releases next week, it’ll set you back 1,500 Super Credits—“an elevated tier, loaded with equipment worthy of legends,” according to the dev team.
This marks the first instance of Halo interactive media making its way to PlayStation 5, and—speaking of milestone arrivals—it drops the very same 26 August that Gears of War: Reloaded marches onto Sony’s current platform.
