Being one of the most celebrated franchises in entertainment, the latest GTA 6 trailer has garnered remarkable attention. Presently, enthusiasts are meticulously examining it for clues and hidden information regarding the complete game.
An assumption gaining prominence suggests that GTA 6 may encompass a second Liberty City map in addition to Vice City. This speculation stems from several details noticed in Trailer 2, such as a Liberty City vehicle registration plate and a character donning a Liberty City cap in a host of new screenshots. Furthermore, the official site affirms that both Lucia and her mother originate from Liberty City.
“Above all else, Lucia yearns for the luxurious life her mother has dreamt of since their time in Liberty City. However, rather than relying on unspecified dreams, Lucia is ready to take initiative,” it states. A Twitter thread detailing this hypothesis could be perceived as a conspiracy theory, albeit Liberty City appears to play some role in GTA 6.
It’s not unprecedented for Rockstar to incorporate a map from an old game in a new one. This was the case with Red Dead Redemption 2, where the entire map from its predecessor was featured. Although there wasn’t a lot to do, players could still traverse the original map and discover its notable sites. Check out the comparison video below:
