Makes the Platinum simpler to achieve
Infinity Nikki, the remarkable PS5 free-to-play platformer developed by Infold Games, is nearing its six-month milestone – and the team is launching substantial updates to commemorate the occasion.
Slated for release on 29th April, the v1.5 patch will introduce major new features to the game, including the capability to dye clothing pieces for new color combinations – plus the option to invite friends for online co-op play.
The adventure commences in an entirely new setting: the enchanting Sea of Stars.
As is typical for the gacha genre, the introduction to this cosmic open-world arena is rich in unique terminology and poetic descriptions, but the essential takeaway is that it’s a stunning new territory to discover.
Completing this area and various other tasks will unlock the new 5-Star outfit Sea of Stars for free in the Heart of Infinity, with a total of 100 pulls available throughout this patch.
As mentioned earlier, co-op gameplay is coming with this update, accessible across the entire game – including Miraland and the new Sea of Stars. You can hold hands with friends, capture memories together, and even tackle new co-op challenges requiring teamwork.
If that’s not sufficient, the new Bubble Season content brings fresh minigames and activities to keep you engaged, alone or with friends.
The developer is also implementing numerous in-game optimizations, such as upgraded photography features and improved visuals. Furthermore, the requirements for the PS5 Trophies are being revised to make earning the Platinum less of a grind.
