Tripwire Interactive has revealed a new launch date for its eagerly awaited horror shooter, Killing Floor 3.
Originally slated for release in March of this year, the gruesome first-person shooter will now debut on PS5 on 24th July 2025 — nearly four months later than initially planned.
According to a press announcement, the additional development period has been used to implement “input from the player community,” enhancing “design, visuals, UI and animations.”
Creative director Bryan Wynia emphasizes the importance of ensuring the game aligns with fan expectations.
“Since postponing the launch of Killing Floor 3, we’ve committed the extra development time to addressing community feedback, ensuring that the next chapter in our beloved cult action/horror series meets our mutual vision,” he states. “The support from our community has been phenomenal, and with the new release date of July 24th approaching, we’re excited to share that vision with players not only at launch but also through ongoing enhancements and new content that define our studio.”
Killing Floor 3 is the newest chapter in the cult classic action horror franchise, where players join forces to defeat horrific foes in thrilling FPS gameplay. The trailer above should provide a glimpse.
